i cannot decide between these …..? 2 tattoo designs

Therefore, I love both of these ideas and would love to have one in me. But, unfortunately, one of my best friends was killed in Afghanistan Monday and I get a tattoo in memory of him. I was thinking of getting RIP (rank) AML are your initials or some other plates lost forever ….. RIP ANT ant was his nickname …. be placed in the foot, regardless of the decision. Im just asking for something to help them decide ….. thanks.

Sorry for your loss. But please take your time with this idea. I personally like RIP and dates, because it says nothing about the person or their relationship with them. Instead, think of something personal, .. his nickname as ants', and I like his plate, (I release the RIP) and may be placed "was lost forever, but art feet painful and difficult and limited as it is, and this could be too much, and perhaps blur if you do not have the letters large enough (at least 1 / 2) that would make identification tags, and "ant" and leave it, or maybe add a rose in the design, perhaps a little behind labels.
