Are tattoos good for everyone?

Seriously I mean it works for some people but some people are just anti tattoos, concerned about how the tattoos will wear on them when they get older. I encourage you to educate me, why do tattoos represent who you are and how does one make the right choice on which one is good. Like what is a lady tattoo and what is a man’s tattoo? I know the butterfly on the lower back is a lady’s tattoo, I know a dragon on the arm or like an eagle is more likely to be a mans, but really a little deeper?

Getting a tattoo is a very personal thing, so it is different for everyone. I have three, very small tattoos that do not depict anything that means anything to anyone other than me. Before having each done I waited 6 months to see if I “went off” them.

For some it is an outward sign to the world showing what and who they are. For some it is an act of rebellion. For others it is to be included (as part of a gang or culture).

My only advice would be to think carefully before having one done. It is, after all, for life…
