There are lots of terrible tattoos out there. I find that the worst tattoos are usually the ones that you see the most because that just shows you that the person who is getting this permanent art on their body has absolutely no creativity or thoughts of their own so they are going to go ahead and get the same, tired, cliché tattoo that everyone else has. Here are three of the worst tattoos:

The Ankh Symbol

You might not know what it is called but I’m sure you’ve seen it. The ankh symbol is an old Egyptian hieroglyphic which loosely translates to “eternal life.” Every quasi-religious or wannabe-mystic probably has a flowered up ankh symbol tattooed on their bicep or arm. Most people who get it as a tattoo probably don’t know what it means and possibly even mistake it for a Christian cross symbol due to their similarities. If you see someone with an ankh symbol as a tattoo nine chances out of ten they are a giant moron.

Tramp Stamp

This derogatory word for a tattoo located on the lower back of a female got its name because it is largely associated with “loose” women who usually wear tight, high rise shirts, low rise jeans and a g-string, all of which accentuate their moronic tattoo. There is no exact type of tramp stamp tattoo design but the most common are angel wings, stars or flowery bordered hearts. But it doesn’t really matter what the tattoo is of because that’s not the point of the tramp stamp. The tramp stamp is more about attention than anything else.

Barbed wire

A common tattoo for body builders and professional wrestlers the barbed wire tattoo around the bicep was extremely popular around 2004 and is still popular today among guys that like Dane Cook and love talking about their new Mustang rims but is gaining in popularity among young women who think it is cool to get a barbed wire tattoo around their wrist or ankle. Maybe it represents their feeling of being in female bondage to a male dominated marketplace. Or maybe they think it looks badass. Probably the latter. Anyone you see with a barbed wire tattoo is either a total meathead or a wannabe goth. Either way, they have little or no creativity.
